Meet Dr Phuong Leung
Dr Phuong Leung is the founder of individual Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (iCST) Dementia Training and Consultancy. She has a multidisciplinary background spanning across dementia care fields; research, teaching/training, leadership development coach and consultancy.
This training course aims to translate theories and research evidence into clinical practice which focuses on understanding how people with dementia act as social beings within everyday interactions in their local communities, the caregiving stress process, the impact of neuropsychiatric symptoms, carer coping strategies, applying communication skills/techniques and developing problem-solving strategies to deliver the best dementia care.
